Coherta ApS protects your data by complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act.

Personal data is collected for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes and is not processed in a way that is incompatible with those purposes.

Why do we use your personal data?

We process personal data to manage your account, subscription and access to the platform, deliver services, support and customer service, and send product updates and operational messages.

We also use information for invoicing, payment and statistical analysis of usage behaviour, so we can improve our solutions.

What information do we process, and on what basis?

Types of personal data

Contact details: name, title, company, address, email and phone number.

Account and usage data: user ID, login events, user preferences, IP address, browser, device, timestamp, features used and usage volume.

Contract and payment data: subscription type, contract term and transaction details. Full card details are not stored by Coherta.

Coherta processes no special categories of personal data.

Recipients and third parties

We only share personal data with trusted suppliers and sub-processors who process data on our behalf and under instruction, for example hosting, analytics, email distribution and payments.

For payments, recognised payment gateways are used via encrypted connections. Coherta does not store full payment card details.

Customer testimonials may be displayed on our website with prior consent.

How we handle transfer, storage and security.

Transfers to third countries

If personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we ensure an adequate level of protection, for example via the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures where necessary.

Retention

We store information for as long as the customer relationship lasts and for up to 72 months after it ends, unless longer retention is required by law, for example for bookkeeping.

We have appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised access or misuse.

We continuously assess and improve our security level.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure in certain cases, restriction of processing, data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to withdraw consent.

When you visit our website, we collect limited information via your browser, such as IP address, browser type, referring web address, timestamp and device.

We use temporary and permanent cookies to improve functionality, analytics and user experience. Non-essential cookies are only used with your consent.
